I was asked last Saturday evening, at the opening of Moser Café – Kultur, by the new local business owners of Moser Café – Kultur in Querétaro, México, (see http://is.gd/cm1Kh ), for a “how to” in connecting your business with culture.

The owners asked me for my input, because coming from Berne, Switzerland, they see that the government in CH provides a great deal of assistance to the “ARTS”, but these business owners do not see the same level of this kind of assistance from the government in Querétaro.

On this point we both agree, little and ultimately none, from the governemnt here, in so far as connecting local business with culture; we all agreed – “let’s do this privately”.

What a wonderful departure point!

First Step – Moser Café – Kultur has made a bold move in establishing their business, (loosely fashioned after the Café at the Berliner Ensemble), at La Fábrcia Centro de Arte y Creación Contemporánea, – see www.lafabrica.org.mx and La Fábrica is also on Face Book – http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/La-fabrica/102599656449205?ref=ts

Second Step – coming up with a business plan to “Connect their Business with Culture”. I am happy to say the first meeting will take place next week.

More steps – I shall detail, here on this Blog over the next few weeks, the step by step process and progress as the “Business Plan” unfolds.
